The Slither Bot is a fantastic robot to build. A connecting-rod mechanism driven by an electric motor and a fully jointed body mean it can move like a genuine snake. Kids will love assembling and operating this scientific toy, slithering it around the house for interactive fun.
This STEM learning kit helps children develop manual dexterity, engineering skills, and creativity while understanding real principles of movement. Over 50 plastic pieces, including a motor, assemble into a snake more than 50 cm long. The cascade gear system and connecting-rod mechanism enable fluid, sideways motion—the jointed tail and head move in a zig-zag pattern so the robot slides smoothly and sinuously wherever it goes.
